As a "Nordlicht" - a person from the North of Germany - I feel particularly attached to the stories of the sea. I also embrace the fantastic variety of stories from across the globe and draw them into my heart.

I continue to be fascinated by stories and fairy tales where people facing a tricky situation cunningly cheat the devil at their heels. I love the way that strong women fight for their happiness and courageous men into the World, drawn towards the unknown and adventure. It is empowering when the bumbling fool learns to laugh over his own misfortune and the children put a positive twist on their fate with the strength and courage drawn from within.

A story is a gift of so much more than just entertainment.
